Role Purpose
Responsible for responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication equipment, including antennas, towers, and other associated structures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication towers and antennas.
- Perform rigging and de-rigging of telecommunication structures.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best positioning for equipment.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecommunication equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Matric.
- Valid South African driving license – Code 10/C1 or higher.
Clear criminal record. - Any experience in similar role/ function is beneficial.
Required Skills
- Ability to efficiently use mobile based systems (OWS/ Mateline/ Icare).
- Ability to work with a tight deadline.
HSE Competency Requirements
- Valid occupational medical certificate for driving and working at heights.
- Valid Fall Arrest with Basic Rescue qualification / certification
- Valid Rope Rigging qualification / certification.
